California AB 1825 Update
On July 18, California approved the final regulations submitted by the Fair Employment & Housing Commission (FEHC) to the Office of Administrative Law (OAL). The new regulations have been forwarded to the Secretary of State and will become effective August 17.
While much has been debated over these regulations, in the final analysis they are not as onerous or restrictive as some might think. Boiled down for e-learning users they require:
- two hours of participation
- content that covers the basics
- an electronic link for learners to ask questions that will be answered within two business days.
